Our group had a lively discussion of the book, Learning To Die, by Falco Tarassaco, (Oberto Airaudi). He founded the Italian community of Damanhur, an eco-society based on ethical and spiritual values. Promoting a culture of peace and equitable development through solidarity, volunteerism, respect for the environment, art, and social and political engagements, visitors are always welcome. They have their own Constitution and currency. The Federation of Damanhur is well known for the Temples of Humankind they created underground….some consider them the Eighth Wonder of the World. Besides Italy, there are international centers in other parts of Europe, Japan and the United States.
Learning To Die is dedicated to living life every moment in serenity and awareness. Falco shares his views on preparing oneself to be ready for death, as well as to help our friends and loved ones meet that moment with lightness.
